For example, the right bank to finance a furnished rental, or hotel investment, would perhaps not have the right range of products for an equity release or the restructuring of existing loans.
A self-employed person may find that one bank will ask for three years audited accounts, whereas another may only require two; or one bank may insure people for longer than others. Knowing the true spread of products on offer means a genuine choice for the client.
